DIY CROWN DETOX
Too many of us look in the mirror and see thinning hair or dull, sagging skin.
Hair loss is common as we age. It's caused by the hormone testosterone, and its conversion into a molecule called DHT. This alteration causes hair follicles to shrink, resulting in hair loss.
Among the many skin benefits of saw palmetto …essential fatty acids can help keep skin nourished and hydrated. They also help reduce skin irritation. The essential fatty acids in saw palmetto may make it beneficial for several skin types, including oily, acne-prone skin.
But did you know that saw palmetto is a herbal DHT blocker?
It does this by reducing the uptake of DHT in the hair follicles, which decreases its ability to bind to specific hormone receptors
And although I’m orally ingesting the herbal supplement, I also open a few capsules to make saw palmetto infuse oil, then apply the oil to my crown. Right after I apply a herbal scalp scrub.
