Dear Gina,
I’ve been diagnosed with a death sentence. Words cannot describe how I’m feeling right now. Pease pray that I’ll live to see another day? -Samantha
Dear Samantha,
Bad news is always heard to hear, but the blessing lies in what you do with information? The information is nothing more than alerting you to the challenges along the pathway.
If you we’re playing a game of checkers, you wouldn’t become sorrowful because your opponent move into position to take one of your players, would you?
Approach “the game of life” as you would a game of sport. Plan to win.
The bad news that you received is about making you loose your character. What would happen if you laughed when you lost the first player? You’d get your head in the game, right?
Remember, every small win builds joy and you celebrate inwardly. The battle is really all about who will gain the most joy.
How will your strategic plan get you pass fear and reinforce your love, patience, joy, endurance, motivation and gratitude?
