This period of uncertainty has brought many illusions of lack.
For me?
I’m experiencing a hydration setback. My hair, joints and skin are suddenly in a 911 space. Looking stressed indicates that there’s inflammation pooling in the house.
I AM supplementing my holistic arsenal…
Spiritually; I AM transcending a minor setback. Mentally; I AM mindful that my wellbeing strategy needs editing and boundaries reinforced. Physically; my routine will begin with -
Hyaluronic Acid - Promotes healthier, more supple skin and lubricates joints. Applied as an anti-aging eye serum to heal dry eyes and to minimize wrinkles.
Saw Palmetto - To balance hormone levels by blocking the activity of 5-alpha reductase (5α-R), an enzyme that converts testosterone into a hormone linked to hair loss called dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and combat hair loss.
MSM - To help move lymphatic fluid, accelerating healing.
Fenugreek - Applied topically as a hair mask not only to kill any bacteria and fungi present on the scalp, but also to strengthen the hair follicles and promote hair growth.
Amla - Anti-aging properties purifies blood and boosts immunity. Externally, reduces hair fall, increases hair volume, a good skin conditioner and as a moisturizer promotes healthy eyes.
My DIY remedies?
I combine Ayurveda herbs with aloe vera, oil or yogurt and apply as a leave-on tea, or deep conditioning masque rinsing after 30 minutes.
