I was a stay at home mom. My husband has abandoned our family and doesn’t send money. I will move in with family soon, but the pain of loneliness and rejection has consumed me. I would just rather lay here and die, than to face another moment worrying. Please God, help me. -Janice
Dear Janice,
If you can believe, then you can receive. The key to silencing your pain is to stop the stories that are on auto play in your mind. Your reaction to the situation literally holds the power to change the outcome of the situation itself!
Cast out any thoughts of, “Marriage was suppose to be like…, How could God allow this, or My husband is terrible.”
Believe that he did the best that he could with the knowledge that he had. Hope that everyone grows through this. Allow this experience to build and transform you. Reject any negative perceptions, only believe that whatever happened, occurred for your good.
Pick yourself up, say a prayer and go get the plan that you just prayed for!
Your emotional needs cannot be outsourced. You are the only one wired for that job. Thoughts drives emotions. Emotions drives your behavior. Go, to master your thoughts.
Feeling the pain is a step to healing the pain. Don’t ignore it, numb it or pretend it doesn’t exist. The only way out, is through it.
✨The Four Noble Truths
1. The truth of suffering
2. The truth of the cause of suffering
3. The truth of the end of suffering
4. The truth of the path that leads to the end of suffering
💪No pain that we suffer, no trial that we experience is wasted. It ministers to our education, to the development of such qualities as patience, faith, fortitude and humility.
All that we suffer and all that we endure, especially when we endure it patiently, builds up our characters, purifies our hearts, expands our souls, and makes us more tender and charitable, more worthy to be called the children of God .
Be a warrior not a worrier. If God is for you, who can be against you?♥️🙏
Rejoice in the opportunity to know the truth. Celebrate the reality that you’re family is strong and loving. Move forward with gratitude. That’s where God meets you!
