Dear Gina,
I am the 18 year old son to a mother of 8 children. The courts removed us from her custody and she does nothing to regather us as a family, it’s been 8+ years. I’m traumatized by her lack of care. Have you experienced a deep rooted offense and need relationship healing, but struggle to find the courage to apologize or change your attitude? ~Mark
Dear Mark,
It is very brave of you to share your naked truth with me. That’s a hard pill to swallow. My immediate thoughts…"And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32
Mama did her best. Forgive. Love her anyway.
Love,
Gina
We've all been there, life is unfair and hurtful!.
A lack of understanding & envy is the marriage of most conflicts, with ugly emotions being the offspring. When we waste our time condemning people, we never learn how to appreciate them & unknowingly we condemn ourselves too #karma.
When I feel tempted by conflict, I use my shield of self-control & weapon of truth, that reminds me "I have the courage to be kind & persevere regardless".
Remember how powerful you are. Life goes on. Keep moving forward with compassion and gratitude.
